On November  22, New Fairfield High Schools Marketing I and II classes attended the annual DECA fall leadership conference at the University of New Haven. At the event, attendees were treated to a complimentary breakfast upon arrival in which they had time to eat and socialize with both each other and other DECA chapters. Following breakfast, the elected state officers addressed the room as a whole, explaining the day to come.  Next, students were released to the marketing related lessons being held throughout the campus they had previously scheduled for themselves. Lessons consisted of succeeding in state competition events, exactly how to dress for success, and entrepreneurship. Finally, the students gathered together once again for final remarks before the closure of what was both a fun and informative day!
