On Saturday, January 12, 2018 three members from New Fairfield High School DECA program hosted the annual Senior Citizen Prom with a Oscar theme at the New Fairfield Senior Center.  Dylan Kelly, Kerrigan Quinn, and Eileen Rattigan, who are all seniors at the High School, were in charge of the event and were assisted by several younger students. The Senior Citizen Prom is a great way for the youth of New Fairfield to bond with the Seniors. All of the attendees enjoyed the food, desserts, dancing, and raffles.  Each Senior Citizen voted on prom King and Queen, as well as best dressed male and best dressed female.  Bob and Gail Ketchum took home the crown for this year's prom King and Queen. Doreane Stevens won best dressed female and  Marty Gucker won best dressed male. All food and raffles were graciously donated by businesses and restaurants including; Sarah’s Gift and Ship, Godfather Promotions, Elmers Diner, Bruno’s Pizza and Pasta, Biscotti’s, New Fairfield Food Center, and Classic Nails.
