NYC FIELD TRIP

The trip:
On December 12th, 2019 our NFHS Marketing students were rewarded for their hard work throughout the school year with a fun yet informative trip to one of the most “magical places on earth”: New York City. Through the hard work of both chapter president Angela Cupo and DECA advisor Mr. Scherf, this annual trip was made a success through each of their extensive planning and organization. Chaperoned by both NFHS faculty and parents, our Marketing I and II students took off for the Big Apple first thing in the morning!

Event #1:
Upon arrival in NYC, the groups first destination was none other than the world's most famous arena: Madison Square Garden. It was at MSG in which students received an entertaining and thorough tour regarding what goes into running such an establishment from both a marketing and logistical standpoint.

Event #2:
Following the tour, students sat down for a quality lunch with one another at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. as they had previously selected their meals prior to the trip.

Event #3:
After the positive dining experience at Bubba Gump, students split into their predetermined groups and along with their chaperone were free to explore the endless possibilities of things to do in the concrete jungle that is NYC. Some of these activities consisted of seeing the monstrous display of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, shopping at the M&M store, admiring the scenery of Bryant Park, and many more!
