As this years 2020 DECA state competition season has progressed, the Marketing II students at NFHS have continued their resilient efforts towards both constructing the best projects possible and making a change in the community. Period A2 students Grace Amorando, Emily Kakos, and Lailah Turner have truly displayed their generosity through their hard work put into the Birthday in a Box project. In order to accomplish their goal of providing financially struggling families with a birthday party for their children, these girls collected donations throughout all levels of the New Fairfield school system. These donations ranged from chips, to party favors, to cake mix. Finally, once all of the donation boxes were filled, the supplies was hand delivered to the Interfaith Aids Ministry of Greater Danbury in which they completed the process of putting a smile on these children's faces.
