Birthday in a is an event run by two marketing II students. It is where a bunch of other marketing students of all levels donate different party supplies that are then donated to children that are currently in the hospital dealing with HIV or AIDS. The idea behind the project is that the children in the hospital are still able to celebrate a birthday without the added pressures on the parents to worry about getting supplies.

What is it?

The Process

The main thing that had to be done with this project is obtaining all the supplies. There were several boxes that needed to be filled and this was done by the contributions of several marketing students. Not only did high school students contribute but the coordinators also went to the other schools apart of the district. After that was completed all that needed to be done was assembling the boxes and delivering them.

And the Winner is...

Congratulations to Amanda Barile & Kaitlin Schappach! The two students presented their Birthday-In-a Box Project and got 2nd Place at this years DECA State Competitions.
