2017 Officer Leadership Trip

About the Trip:
On September 19, 2017 the annual Officer Leadership Trip took place. It is where the new group of officers spend the day doing many team bonding activities in order to set up a positive environment for the rest of the year. The day includes an abundance team building exercises as well as rock climbing. This trip completely embodies the ideas of teamwork, togetherness and unity. Every year the trip is in collaboration with Wide Angle Vision.

Team Building:

Various Team Building exercises include:​

2 partners, 1 Blindfolded and the other leading them to a destination further in the woods. ​

This exercise ​primarily focused on trust as well as communication skills.

All officers are taped together and have to move from one spot to another without breaking the tape.

The main purpose of this exercise was to work on communication skills as well as working together.​

Entire group stands in a circle and had to spin a ring and tell one thing no one knows about.

This allowed us all to learn more about each other and become closer as a group.​
